Greetings from India! Thanks for visiting the website of the 4th edition of the World Oil & Gas Assembly, popularly known as WOGA. I feel humbled by the almost iconic stature that WOGA has gained over the years, with some star industry names calling WOGA “the best business conclave in the regions East of the Suez”.
The conclave as always will be informal in nature and discreet in terms of public and media visibility to allow the participants the required privacy for productive interchange of ideas and opportunity for quality networking. Globally admired industry leaders such as Mr. Rex Tillerson, Chairman of ExxonMobil, Mr Abdallah S Jum’ah, who retired recently from the post of CEO and President of Saudi Aramco, and Mr Frank Chapman, CEO of British Gas Group, among many others, have enthusiastically participated in the previous editions of WOGA. Almost everyone who matters in India’s oil and gas sector will be there, led by Mr Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries Limited, and Mr. R S Sharma, Chairman and Managing Director of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC). The top bosses of several leading oil and gas multinationals have already confirmed their participation. The 4th edition of WOGA will begin with the Inaugural Session on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 0900 hours and close with a lunch by 1530 hours on Saturday, December 5, 2009. We have also scheduled a pre-conference dinner on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 2000 hours.
